HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

When you shop from an online store, ours or any other, you provide information about yourself. Where you live, what email address you have, and what you shop for. Here, we describe how we handle your personal information.

The foundation of everything we do is to treat our customers the way we want to be treated, always. This also applies when it comes to information.

We hope you feel secure about how we handle your personal information and want to continue shopping with us.

GDPR – YOUR RIGHTS

The General Data Protection Regulation is an EU regulation that governs how we can process personal data. It replaces the Swedish Personal Data Act (PUL) from May 25, 2018.

You can learn more about the law and your rights on the Data Inspection Board’s website.

SUMMARY OF OUR INFORMATION HANDLING

We collect as little information as possible. The information we collect is the information required to fulfill our commitment to you and for you to fulfill your commitment to us (i.e., pay for your order).

If you want to order on an invoice, our partner Billmate needs your personal identification number. Only then can you have your goods sent to you on an invoice.
When you pay by card, you are required to provide your credit card number. It goes through a secure (HTTPS) server, and Billmate or Teller handles card payments for us.

Additionally, we need to know which products you are ordering, and we need your email address and phone number to contact you with delivery information, updated information, etc.

HOW DO WE USE THIS INFORMATION?

We use the information to process your order. We use your email address to send you information if you request it. If you no longer want information from us, you can easily contact us via the website and request to be removed.

WHY DO WE STORE INFORMATION?

We store information for accounting reasons. We need to be able to provide documentation to the tax authority.

REMOVING YOUR INFORMATION FROM OUR DATABASE

The information we store exists only as a basis for the financial transaction and is retained for legal reasons and therefore cannot be deleted.

If you have questions, you are welcome to contact us.

WHERE DO YOUR DATA GO?

When you shop with us, your order goes through several steps for us to process and send your goods to you.

We work with the following systems/providers, and your information may need to be processed by some of these.

Opencart / Oderland – our e-commerce solution

Sparbanken – if you pay directly to us via BG.

Billmate – if you choose to pay with Billmate.

Teller – if you choose to pay by card.

Fortnox – our accounting system

DHL – if we send your delivery with tracking ID.

Postnord – if we send your delivery as mail.

Microsoft / O365 – domain and email management system

Google – for campaign data tracking, e.g., via Analytics or Merchant.

Prisjakt – system for evaluating our service

Pricerunner – system for evaluating our service

OPENCART

We use a system for our webshop called Opencart. It is a database where our products, our text pages, and everything else (including this page) you see in the webshop are collected. When you place an order on our website, it happens in Opencart.

Your order is then stored in a database at Oderland, which is our partner for database management and server hosting. Opencart / Oderland stores the information for us but does not use it in any way without our permission and without us requesting it. This can happen, for example, if an order has not gone through or has been duplicated for some reason. Then Oderland technicians can investigate the order and troubleshoot.

In the order, there is information about which products you have bought from us, how you have paid (but no information about credit cards, personal identification numbers, or similar), and the address to which we should send the goods.

If you make exchanges or return goods, we usually note this in Opencart.

Here, we can also save and enter email conversations related to orders and exchanges. The purpose of this is to provide better service to you as a customer.

BILLMATE & TELLER

When you reach the checkout, you must pay for your items. There, you can choose from several different payment methods. Depending on the payment method, an external payment intermediary will receive information about your purchase. Billmate has a system where the order contents are visible.

ODERLAND

We use Oderland for domain and server management. This means that your emails go through Oderland.

FORTNOX – ACCOUNTING

We use the Fortnox program for accounting. From Fortnox, we extract invoice journals used as accounting records. The invoice journals contain the buyer’s name, invoice number, and amount. There is no information about addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or the products ordered.

We retain the information in accordance with the Accounting Act, which states the following: “They must be kept until the end of the seventh year after the end of the calendar year in which the fiscal year ended.”
