When to change to winter tires?

Well, you can hardly talk about this after this summer. But believe it or not, it’s almost time for winter tires. 
Firstly, there are different types of tyres. 

Studded tyres may be used:
1 October 2015 – 15 April 2016

Requirements for winter tires apply:
1 December 2015 – 31 March 2016

There are different types of tires and if you have what is popularly known as all-season tires, you can of course use these all year round. 
However, in our experience, these are both a little worse in the summer and in the winter. A winter tyre (including all-season tyres) must have at least 3mm tread depth during the period when the law on winter tyres applies. 

So remember to change your tires in time, and save money in otherwise expensive fines.
