Do you have a glowing airbag lamp?
It can be due to many reasons.
This tool is used for troubleshooting airbag systems.
- Mount the resistance tester where the airbag would normally be connected.
Start at the lowest ohm resistance. - Reset the airbag error code (requires separate equipment)
- Has the error code disappeared? If not, increase the value of the resistance tester and reset the error code again.
- When the correct value has been found and the light no longer goes out, it can be concluded that the fault lies in the airbag.
This set comes with resistors in the same ohm number as the meter tested. This is if you want to keep the light off without having an airbag installed ( Not recommended for cars in traffic on public roads! )
Airbag resistance included:
2x 1.0 ohms
2x 1.5 ohms
2x 1.8 ohms
2x 2.2 ohms
2x 2.7 ohms
2x 3.3 ohms
2x 3.9 ohms
2x 4.7 ohms
