REMOVE PLASTI DIP. DO NOT ADD TO THIN!

Have you ever tried to remove plastic dip and it only comes off in small pieces? We always recommend 3-5 thin layers to get good thickness which can then be pulled off properly.
If you have got it so thin that it definitely does not go, you can use degreasing (Te.x from OKQ8 as used below) and a high pressure wash.

Spray abundantly with degreasing, soak in the plastic dip. Then spray the remains away. This may have to be repeated and is not at all preferable even to being able to pull off the plastic dip. But if there is no other way out, this is a good solution. There are also several suppliers of different plastic dip removers that also work in the same way.

It is also for this reason that you should definitely not use degreasing on your dipped car if you want it left! There are some degreases, however, that work. These are of a different base than the usual petroleum base used on te.x OKq8's degreasing.
So degreasing can be either a rescuer in need or death for a plastic dip.
